Week 1 -Tuesday 26th August
Get your hands a little smudgy as we dive into the magic of charcoal. In this relaxed beginner-friendly session, you’ll learn simple sketching techniques for shading, texture, and proportion – then bring it all together by creating your very own elephant portrait. Time: 5:30pm-7pm
Week 2 -Tuesday 2nd September
Unleash your inner wild side with the vibrant world of oil pastels. In this colourful session, you’ll learn how to blend, layer, and add texture to make your artwork roar to life. Using rich, buttery pastels, we’ll create striking portraits that can be as bold, abstract, or realistic as your imagination allows. Time: 5:30pm-7pm
Week 3 -Tuesday 9th September
Discover the beauty of watercolour’s soft washes and unexpected magic. In this session, you’ll explore layering, blending, and wet-on-wet techniques to capture the graceful movement of birds in flight. Time: 5:30pm-7pm
Week 4/5 - Tuesday 16th & 23rd September
Step into the bold, vibrant world of acrylic painting while exploring the secrets of colour theory. In these sessions, you’ll learn how to select and mix harmonious colour pallets, tone and texture. Discover the different types of brushes and palette knives and how to use them. Whether you paint in a realistic style or take a loose, impressionist approach, you’ll capture a beautiful landscape on canvas.

Self-taught artist with a Diploma in Graphic Design, I’ve been running my studios since 2019. In that time, I’ve taught hundreds of lessons — and cleaned more paintbrushes than I care to admit. Proof that with enough passion and practice, you really can paint your own path.

Are all art supplies provided?
Yes, we supply all the art materials, including paints, canvases and aprons. Just bring yourself.
Is it beginner friendly?
Yes, this course is for all levels from beginners who have never painted to those wanting to a refresh in a different medium.
What is the cost and how do I pay?
Just $44 per week or save with a full course payment of $200. Payment are made via our websie by clicking enrol now.
Do you offer refunds or credits?
We’re unable to offer refunds or credits for missed lessons, as each class has a limited number of spots and your booking helps cover the cost of materials prepared for you. If you miss a class, we will email the lesson plan so you can catch up in your own time at home. If a class is cancelled by The Sip Studio, you’ll receive a full refund.

Studio location and parking
We are located at 128 Princes Highway Fairy Meadow (next to Massimo Pappas and Jins). We recommend parking at the Coles Fairy Meadow car park and walking down (approx 2 minutes)
